suspicious...very suspicious

Recently...as in yesterday...I was talking to a coworker (aka shipmate) of my husbands who expressed his desire to learn how to cook in order to impress his new (very new) girlfriend. He wanted me to share some of my culinary wisdom with him, as he wishes to keep this girl around for quite some time. So this leads me to the question of the day that all of you should ask before getting married. It is not "Can you cook?" or even "Do you like to cook?" but rather "Once we get married will you still love to cook as much as you claim to now?" True story: David cooked a variety of delicious things before we got married. It was amazing and really fantastic and I was quite impressed. Now, I love cooking so i have no problem doing it, but one night after we had been married for a couple months I was feeling particularly tired so i asked him if he might like to make dinner for the both of us. To this he replied that he could not cook dinner that evening because he did not know how to cook. Really? Because I am entirely positive that before we got married he could cook just fine. Alas, he can no longer do it. How could this happen? Quite suspicious if you ask me. So fair warning you single ladies, men who get married apparently lose brain cells. But there is hope, if your man is like mine, you  may be able to coax him into making a box of Hamburger Helper on very special occasions.

luckily kory still likes to cook!
tell david to step it up or you might lose some important brain cells of your own ;)
my question of the day: do you put your dirty clothes/socks in the hamper inside out or right side out?

  2. my question to you...are you seriously that OCD to think about how your socks go in the hamper!? lol...as previously discussed though, I would just be happy if dirty socks made it to the hamper at all.

  3. yes, i am that OCD. socks especially do not get as clean if they go through the wash inside out! you'll be happy to know i have trained kory to take his socks off right side out!!
