I felt a little ridiculous...but quickly got over it...
Wow. I keep saying I am going to get better at this and I never do. So lets see...what has occurred since the last post. I think I only think about this when I am bored and David is out to sea. So lets start from there. David has been out quite a bit. I guess not a ton but in my mind its way too much. My job keeps getting worse but I am still thankful to have work in such trying times. David's little brother Spudd was here for a couple weeks before he had to go meet his ship. We all cant believe he is in the navy and off on deployment now. Im sure Momma Wallace is having a bit if a rough time with all her babies leaving like this. Last weekend my cousin Jesica was here to visit as well so all of us went to a Halloween party with a bunch of people David works with. I must say it was interesting. We all dressed up which was probably the best part of it. I havent dressed up in awhile. I felt a little ridiculous but quickly got over it when I saw some of the other people there. Last week we also went to the temple to do family name baptisms. It was a great experience. It was David's first time in the temple and I was happy that he enjoyed it. I am always amazed by the amount of peace and love that is found there. Before we started the couple running the baptistry talked to us for a few minutes and one of the things they said that sorta stuck with me was that we were there to do the Lord's work and to make eternal friends. And since I am a huge believer that one can never have too many friends I was pretty excited about that. And now I just count down the days to the weekend until I can be with my best friend again. Everything is much better when he is around.

Time to Update
Ok Ok Ok. Im going to keep up with this blog thing. It has been decided...by me...that I need something to occupy my time. The love of my life is currently out to sea. I havent spoken with him in a few days and its seriously driving me crazy. I even went so far as to get angry at America yesterday. I dont know what im going to do when he is gone for 7 months. Anyway life here is going well. The weekends are always fun and way too short. I finally found a job. I dont love it but its work so Ill do my best. Im trying to find a government job though. They pay better, give all the paid holidays (even columbus day!) and have much better job security. The apartment is slowly getting better. We finally got a table and chairs so now we are on the hunt for a couch. Sister Espinoza gave us some really nice gifts that are so helpful. I practically got teary over the support she was giving. I'll always love my second mom. General Conference last weekend was amazing as usual. David and I spent sunday with my parents. It wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought it would be...in fact I came away from it feeling a whole lot better about a lot of things. I guess all this rambling is really the result of me being bored out of my mind and lonely as heck. If my job wasn't so awful I might be thankful for the extra hours they are making me work this week (I'm hoping they don't even stumble upon my blog). Basically I cant wait for Saturday morning. Ive been dreaming about that big bear hug for nights now.
