WARNING: PICTURE OVERLOAD
Merry Christmas 2013
Our Local Base had Santa come to the USO last week. We got a picture, ate some desserts, and Jax got a present. Unfortunately, it was a girl toy. Now we have a non-believer on our hands. ha ha
Jax's grandma and grandpa brought Jax this outfit and bib. The bib says "Who needs Santa? I've got Grandma!" Yeah, probably true.
So excited David surprised me with a new camera for Christmas so we will get less blurry shots of this little boy who just cannot sit still!
Grandma also brought him this SUPER cute little outfit that says "No Mistletoe Required". That is DEFINITELY the truth. This boy gets smooches all the time!
It has really cute reindeer booties and a reindeer on the bum! I LOVE cute things on baby bums! There is just such a small window of time when that is adorable.
Jax had to make cookies to leave out for Santa on Christmas eve.
Our little Christmas tree (that takes up WAY too much space in our tiny apartment).
Presents!
Jax in his Christmas jammies.
All of us in our Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve.
Santa Came!! Jax is one LUCKY boy!
Jax in his pile of loot (The Elmo is from Aunt Shayla, Uncle Sam, Aunt Kiera, Aunt Olivia and Uncle Hunt, the Monkey is from Grandma Lisa, The Peek-a-Boo Sock Monkey is from Great Grandma Jill (GG) and everything else is from Santa)
David was REALLY excited about this little wagon because he had one when he was younger that he liked to put all of his toys in and drag around. I am sure he will teach Jax to do the same. For now though, it is a very nice spot for Jax to hang out.
We had really yummy chocolate waffles with fresh whipped cream and fresh blackberries for breakfast.
Jax played in his wagon for awhile...
David ordered me some clothes from Old Navy…what came instead was this size 6 little girls sparkly fox shirt. FAIL.
See-No Mistletoe Required!
I bought David a Derrick Rose Chicago Bulls Jersey. What he got instead was a Women's 49'ers jersey. DOUBLE FAIL! That is the LAST time we have stuff delivered gift wrapped so we don't even check it before putting it under the tree. There is a very disappointed little girl and an unhappy woman somewhere out there.
David and Jax watched basketball for most of the day.
Jax loves his Elmo!
I had to test out my new camera real quick with Jax. I will have to learn how to use better though before it becomes our primary camera.
Of course Jax was mostly interested in the wrapping paper. He had a great time playing in this.
Little guy had so much action he wore himself out. He was sitting on David's lap and then all of a sudden was asleep which NEVER happens. Usually he has to be rocked or have his back patted to fall asleep. It never just happens. I guess Christmas wears him out.
And of course we wouldn't be able to get through Christmas without thinking about and missing our first little love.
Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas as much as we enjoyed ours!

What a great Christmas! I am obsessed with your pajamas. Where did you get them?
